Prayer of David to the Lord

Purpose of the Book:
1. Show the genealogies leading up the kingly throne of David
2. To show the good history of King David’s reign
3. To show the order of worship established in David’s Tabernacle and the pre patio for the building of the Temple under Solomon
Mt Sinai to build a tabernacle for worship
David’s Tabernacle, introduction of musicians during worship, not just sacrifices
4. To show the relationship of the kings of Judah to the temple of Jerusalem

Message of the Book:
1. God sees righteous works even when there are unrighteous works
2. God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble
3. The progress in our spiritual life is dependant upon our relationship with God
