Haggai
To get God’s house built and to awaken a sense of spiritual responsibility
Zechariah
To reassure and encourage the Jewish community that He will restore the temple and favor as they continue in repentance unlike the previous generation

God wants us to put Him first

God cares about the heart (temple) more than your hands
