Make sure that you and God are doing okay. That the priority of your life is sanctification. He cares about your ministry but you have to save yourself before you save others.
Be devout in prayer and then focus on teaching

Chapter 1: Charge concerning sound doctrine
Sound doctrine is the most important thing in ministry
Sound means healthy - giving healthy teaching to the church
Chapter 2: Charge concerning public worship
Chapter 3: Charge concerning church officers
Most are character qualifications not gifting
Chapter 4: Charge concerning false teachers
Chapter 5: Charge concerning members of the congregation
Chapter 6: Charge concerning the minister himself
Purpose of the Book:
1. To warn against false teacher
You are on guard as the shepherd to guard the sheep
2. To give instruction regarding sound doctrine
How to and to teach and to think as proper doctrine and it’s all through TEACHING
3. To set forth the qualification of elders and deacons
4. Encourage Timothy concerning his. Ministry
Timothy was the pastor over the church in Ephesus.
Message of the Book:
1. The minister that is given to godliness will be good and faithful
If you give your ill to sanctity then you will be trustworthy for his ministry
2. True ministers will teach sound doctrine and be faithful to the charge given to him
Sound doctrine is the emphasis… we have to teach the bible but HOW we interpret the bible is sound doctrine
Unfortunately people use the bible to teach and twist the bible into the incorrect ways
3. Relationships between older and younger ministries is to be a “father-son” relationship
Paul cared for Timothy not as a person that worked for him… it was a family relationship for Him. A son.
